"We are both old and have been married long ago to others. So what on earth do you get each other to commemorate our union? We worked with Elaine, told her stories of our life together and laughed a lot at the sweet memories. Elaine walked our property with us (wine in hand) and saw sunflowers that I love, the cannas that he loves and I don’t, the 3 beagles, chickens and Zora the goat that we both love. Somehow, Elaine crafted our story in fabric, complete with little hidden gems that are only of significance to us. There is much emotion sewn into this work of art. Joy when times are easy and fun and comfort when things are challenging and always a reminder of our unique and quirky connection.
